Biographical Information:

Dan Thoman is a retired engineer with over thirty years of experience with the US Environmental Protection Agency. He is an engineer, scientist and nature lover. By both education and experience his life has been consumed enjoying and protecting our world. Daniel is inspired by nature whether it's looking at hummingbird or gazing at the Orion Nebula.

Dan is active in the Charlie Elliott chapter of the Atlanta Astronomy Club acting as the Charlie Elliott Astronomy Outreach Coordinator and the Facilities Coordinator. He also hopes to be building an observatory soon.
