Sam Turley is a former broadcast journalist, current graduate student, and lifelong fan of NASA. Growing up in North Florida, she was thrilled to see space shuttle launches in the sky above her home and devoured every book about outer space that her parents brought home. She graduated with a journalism degree at age 19 and worked as a television news producer for four years, during which time she used any excuse she could come up with to write stories about space exploration. Today, she's pursuing a MS in Human Computer Interaction through DePaul University with the dream of working to help NASA send humans safely to Mars and beyond.
Sam loves sharing her passion for space exploration with the Northeast Florida community and has a particular interest in inspiring young women to pursue careers in STEM.
