Biographical Information:

Sam Turley is a Human-Computer Interaction specialist and a lifelong fan of NASA. Growing up in North Florida, she was thrilled to see space shuttle launches in the sky above her home and devoured every book about outer space that her parents brought home. She graduated with a journalism degree at age 19 and worked as a television news producer for four years, during which time she used any excuse she could come up with to write stories about space exploration. She is now working in tech and aims to encourage kids from diverse backgrounds to pursue STEM-related careers. She is particularly interested in human spaceflight and radio astronomy.
