Biographical Information:

Kaitlin Porter is originally from Rhode Island but moved to Florida when she was five years old. She has been studying Astronomy since she was nine years old, when a neighbor first let her look through his telescope. She gazed at Jupiter, Saturn and their moons and fell in love. It was that moment that inspired Kaitlin to become an elementary school astronomy teacher. She wants to inspire children to fall in love with space like she did at such a young age. Kaitlin loves to read, getting lost in other worlds as she lives day to day.
