Biographical Information:

Taylor Peterson is a fine artist and space enthusiast who teaches Art K-12 for Aurora Public Schools in Aurora, Colorado. She was born under a new moon in the swamps of northeast Florida, only two hours from Kennedy Space Center. In 2014 she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking; but not before spending a life-changing semester abroad studying art and art history in Italy. Two and a half years later, she left the marshlands for the mountains and relocated to Denver, Colorado. Inspired by the interaction between art and space science, she joined the NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassadors team in early 2018.
