Katherine Troche is a Brooklyn, New York native. Through volunteer initiatives, she spends her time conducting astronomy-related outreach for various organizations and institutions throughout the five boroughs by coordinating public viewings and informative lectures focused on topics and events relevant to astronomy and space exploration. Her primary focus is to engage and educate the general public in the hope of cultivating an interest in STEM and STEM related science.
Katherine is a current a guest presenter with the Queens Library, and the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York City, as well as a volunteer Solar System Ambassador with NASA/JPL. Her past works include: guest presenter at the Stamford Museum & Nature Center in Stamford, Connecticut, and former board of directors member for the Amateur Astronomers Association of New York.
