Biographical Information:

Maajida Murdock hopes to share her excitement for Physics and space science which was sparked by her first gaze into a telescope at age twelve with people of all ages. She graduated from Morgan State University with Bachelor's degrees in physics and mathematics. She earned a Masters degree in physics from the University of North Dakota. Currently Maajida is a lecturer in physics at Morgan State University, and a math teacher at Randallstown High School. Also she is STEM Ambassador for Maryland out-of-school Network. Maajida serves as a STEM advisor for some local private schools and after-school programs in the Baltimore area and as a facilitator/trainer of some STEM educational programs.
